The form of title contenders to midtable also rans in 3 months. 1-0 down to a Newcastle side that can't win at home for ****.

I expect Arsenal to win. Everton are losing and Spurs should be held at WBA but can't help but wonder if Roman will pull the trigger on this experiment. I said the day he came in we were in serious danger of not making top 4. We are not winning the fixtures I anticipated we would to get us there. Man Utd, Liverpool and City all away and to be honest we can't even win the basic games.

As usual with this board it's always the fans that suffer. Not finishing in the top 4 is what this board deserve and will give them a wake up call but the fans don't deserve it at all.

Interesting next 45 minutes.

You're comfortably third in the table. As if you were ever going to win the title this season! You finished 6th last year, that was more of a mid-table season technically

genuinely can't see us making top 4 under Rafa.

Can someone explain why Torres, an enforced change, was the only change made. Why bother having players on the bench if your afraid to use them

You guys do not look like title challengers BUT you are easily the third best team in this league. This coming summer will be huge for you. I see you coming back strongly next season.

It was this move that allowed us to keep Sissoko on. He has not played much but with your team tiring alongside him, it made no impact on him. Had you made a change, he would have definitely come off.

Thanks for being ****e this afternoon <ok> We're slowly beginning to catch you.

Only 5 points behind now.

Top 4 is going. I reckon unless something changes we will be 5th or lower come May.

I am a definite Ivory Coast fan tomorrow, cant be doing another week without Mikel and Moses

Spot on mate. Go over to the Spurs board and check their rival thread. When 2-1 I said we would still lose.

I think Sir_Red is missing the bigger picture. We have a harder run in than Spurs and Arsenal (on paper). If it goes to the last day we will need to beat Everton at home, hardly the easiest of fixtures. When we play on Thursdays-Sundays form is only going to get worse. Statistically proven that is btw.

Failure to beat Wigan next week and we'll beat out the top 4 by the time we kick off against City. This is some spectacular decline even by Chelsea standards, even 97/98 wasn't as bad.

Up to the board now, they have two options, sack Benitez and get 4th or stick with him and get 5th.

but who could take over? that is why they will never get rid of him this season

<ok>

tbh we're lucky that Arsenal and Spurs are also poor.

I hear Hiddink's job is under fire!

Don't know if Romans panicking, but I am. Refuse to watch the games Coco manages, but the score is precisely what I expected from this mega clown. If Roman wants a genuinely good team, he should start by ridding the Club of the entire Board, and get in some proper football people.
We will be lucky to get 6th place with this set up continuing.
