Dunno but i wouldn't take that bet.

Palace are slipping as predicted, but MBoro are keeping pace and Cardiff look unstoppable for top spot at the moment.

I thought your full backs were your biggest weakness, they both looked fairly ****.

^ Konch is losing his way a little now, and De Laet is so rapid he is gets out of trouble by just getting there.

I thought the same with yours.

Didn't think much to Brady or El Mohammady.

It was, and always was going to be, a midfield duel. Both sides' midfield 3 battling it out playing football the right way.

De Laet, not sure why he went off. Probably because he was booked and then, when Brady clearly tripped him, was given a lecture by the referee.

Liam Moore showed why he'll be a Premier League player when he's older though. Linked with Knocks really well in the second half that I thought we dominated. First half we were all over the place, Bruce did his homework knowing that we'd come out of the blocks fast and nullified that.

IF we get promoted, we would need to sign more than a left back. We have a lot of decent squad players, but certainly need more muscle in the middle of the park. We have some quality players in the Championship, but would many make the grade at the next level up? Having said that, if we can gain consistency and more belief over the remainder of the season, then team ethic can more than compensate.
I personally like Konch, but am probably in the minority on here.

What left backs are worth signing?

    Jonathon Parr?
    Jonas Olsson?
    Matthew Briggs?

Jeff Schlupp is not the answer at left back. Decent cover but nothing more

The big problem is, if we got promotion.... half the squad is not good enough and would be replaced..and they know it ..

I think only Kasper, Morgan, Drinkwater, Knockaert could play major roles

King, Dyer, De Laet, Moore, Nugent, Marshall, Waghorn as squad players and the rest I dont think will be good enough

This team is better than what we think.

    Remember most are young, too.

I think we'd be alright personally.

Villa have a young squad... its not working for them... you need experience for the first 2 seasons at least....
