Aaron McLean never scored twice on his debut or looked any good at all. And he was never labeled Peterborough's best player over the last 30 years like Boyd was.

    So it's only 9 in 10 now? A 90% strike rate, eh... Pfft. George Boyd's is 100%...

    He started well too.

Though he's only scored three in the last seven games, so he's obviously ****.

    What? <laugh>

How many footballers will score every chance they get? Next to none.

He's got into the position but missed. Unlucky.

I'd rather he did that that not have the chance at all. We know he can finish, he already produced a nice one earlier in the game for it to be ruled out.

No, but at least he was in the position.

Taken from a while back, BTW!

So basically then, when he gets into position, and he DOES score, he's offside? Genius! <laugh>

I don't believe he was offside.

I don't think Prossy will get another chance this season.

Gedo and Boyd starting well and Fryatt on the way back......

Looks like Vardy did score more after all.

    What happened to Vardy?

Bizarrely, despite Proshwitz's lack of game time, he's still outperformed Waghorn.

And he only needs to pop on and score one more to outperform Vardy too.

Problem is, he might not make it onto the pitch again this season.

Not really true, half of Prozzie goals were against lower league opposition. The other half (2) were both against Ipswich. Vardy has scored against Barnsley, Blackburn, Boro and Blackburn in the league and one goal against lower league opposition. Far more valuable goals against tougher opposition. Vardy has only made three more appearances than Prozzie.

Plus, as I'm sure you'll agree, was less that half the price. <ok>

EDIT: Plus all three of Waggy's goals were against league opposition (Derby, Huddersfield and Ipswich). So really Prozzie needs one more league goal to catch Waggy and two to catch Vardy. <ok>

It wasn't a serious comment, the fact is that none of them are good enough.

    Vardy and Prossie are crap

Waggy is still a decent YOUNG football. Yes he has faults but he is still a decent player with decent potential

I don't think Vardy is crap. He scored five goals pretty quickly for us. But he isn't good enough for a team looking for promotion to the Premier League. I think one league down maybe he'd be prolific and with regular games at a middling club in this division he'd be in double figures. Basically, he's about as good as Kermogant.

Vardy, in my opinion, needs to be the big fish again.

Can see him going to a league one side and doing very, very well next season.
