Real Madrid could turn to Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino - who only signed a new five-year deal with the Lilywhites last week - to replace the departing Zinedine Zidane. (Daily Mirror) "...who only signed a new five year deal last week..." The clue to whether or not Poch will stay at Spurs is hidden somewhere in the headline.
And yet the headline STILL maintains Real Madrid could turn to Poch. I think that puts the so-called clue in perspective
Pochettino's new contract at Spurs does not include a release clause and chairman Daniel Levy is certain to fight hard to keep him in north London. (Daily Telegraph) Levy doesn't have to fight "hard" or otherwise, since Poch has signed a new five year contract, you twats!
Dunno how accurate Sky's 'sources' are, but the ****s are running a banner saying Madrid have made an approach for Poch.
They can make all the approaches they like, Poch has just signed another contract with Spurs. Do these clowns not think that Poch and Levy will have discussed the likelihood that Real could approach him? Do they not think that Poch was not aware that there could be a strong possibility that Real might be interested in him? I expect Poch to be as professional as he has always been and to go about his job quietly, and to scotch these stupid rumours as soon as he next gives an interview.
I'm slow to anger, Commie. But do not, for a second, think that I am not capable of looking after myself.
