After 20 odd years of terrorising and intimidating referee's I'm sure they are now looking forward to paying you back in anyway they can.

 

It seems that this season will be a good one for Chelsea as far as referees are concerned, judging by the first 2 matches. Would have had 2 points instead of 6. Referees worth 4 points so far

Would be interesting to see a level playing field with Refs at Utd, but not holding my breath.

It is pretty safe to state that ALL of the Top 6 are over the season likely to receive above the average favourable decisions.
The crux then comes in the face off games between these 6. Will be interesting this season.

For what it's worth -
Ivanovic sending off would have been harsh although he was lucky as he did seem to lose it for a few minutes which is vey unlike him.
The goal was OK - Nothing like say the goal against Wigan of a couple of seasons ago
Penalty possibility ? - They are given but again would have been harsh - Ball was much, much closer to Terry than say the Spurs-Palace incident the other day.

I think it just seems so much worse because on balance of play and chances Villa should have got themselves a point, but they didn't so that's it.
