    <rofl>

    Bellers was free from City. Carroll I agree, but hopefully he'll become good. Hendo is still young and I can see him getting a lot better with time. Charlie Adam isn't great but we paid 8m(?) for him so no way near as much as the others. Downer we did pay WELL over the odds for and so far he hasn't proved himself at all. And maybe your right about Suarez but I generally do hope he doesn't leave. He's a great player and if he just keeps his head down for the time being it will hopefully blow over... Fingers crossed- Well for us anyway!

    Us mags are staying grounded, but we do have a chance this season, and imo, as much of a chance of keeping up the points tally as Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. I don't think we'll fall away, but it'll be a tight finish with a point or two in it. As long as we keep up with the pack then it's wide open.

    But we've been winning games without Cabaye, Tiote and Ba for the past few months, and tomorrow we'll be back to full strength with Cisse now included. He may make all the difference.

    Pardew just takes it one game at a time and doesn't even pay much attention to the table. I think that's an approach which has worked well and will continue to do so. We need to just forget about the positions in the table and aim for 3 points from every game. Can't ask for more.

    Anyway, I think the big contenders are Chelsea and Arsenal, which both certainly have the quality to do it. I don't think Liverpool are good enough this time round. The CM pairing is hardly epic, they're missing Lucas (which is like us missing Tiote all season) and the forwards aren't really firing on all cylinders.

    Be interesting to see how andy carrol, charlie adam, stuart downing and jordan henderson do vs the championship side. After all they are all championship quality.
