I agree about Hendo not being a wide player although he did ok yesterday but whatever position we play Suarez in doesn't make a difference when he spends more time on his arse than he does on his feet international football the refs will give attackers free kicks for getting breathed on too heavily but he needs to learn the prem isn't like that.
I agree he should stay on his feet more. By going down all time time he is compromising his self and his team mates. The Referees are aware of his antics and are reclined to give him anything, this means when he is actually fouled we won't get anything! Still, just about every team in the Prem would like him in their side (purely on footballing ability), just needs to work on his finishing.
Yeah or have someone alongside him who can score. He is so talented I just get frustrated with the lad. He was blinding first half but he just gets distracted so easily. Someone needs to get a grip of him and tell him to keep his head down and play for 90 minutes to the best of his ability week in week out
Maybe he gets frustrated at the lack of scoring? He has seen us dominate games all season only for us to draw or lose. Can't see why he would be getting frustrated with teammates so much do, he hardly ever looks for the pass and always goes alone.
Fair to say he's had a frustrating season all round I think the penalty was a classic example...yes he won the pen (and yes he did dive for it) but why the hell was he even trying to go round the keeper that side when all he had to do was bang it square or smash it at the goal.
Don't get me started on penalties. How we won a penalty shootout is beyond me. We only have Gerrard that is a decent penalty taker but, because he has been taking them for us for so long, people are wise to his preferences nowadays. I cringed when Adam was placing the ball yesterday, was slightly happier when I saw Kuyt had taken it off him but still wasn't confident. Didn't want to see Suarez take it either. One of Downing (decent spot kick in the shootout and took them for Villa) or Carragher (proved he can take them in the past) would have been my choice taker.
