by the end of the season, I expect it to be Red Bull, Mclaren, Ferrari and Mercedes for the championship because they are supposed to be the richest teams, meaning that they should be able to keep up the development of their cars. I think Williams and Sauber are already dropping off, and the pace that Lotus show in practice is all the pace they have. Lotus did the same last year in that they had a very strong start, but were almost the last of the midfield teams at Monza, not even the end of the season.

By that logic, and the results we've seen so far, I think it could be Alonso, Hamilton, Webber and Rosberg for the title

I think it's only a matter of time until Seb understands the car in qualifying trim as well as Mark. With further development of the RB8 and Seb settling with it, I wouldn't be surprised to see Seb ramp up the pressure at the halfway point and maybe lead the likes of Alonso and Webber through the rest of the season.

You're asking the wrong crowd here. Despite the fact that Hamilton's ship has sailed, little moany Lewis still gets the most votes in the who will win polls before the GPs. In every race so far this year, most people have plumped for Lewis, and time after time he has gone backwards and moaned at the team he professes to love. And yet every time there is this vain hope in the air before a GP that somehow Lewis can summon up the ghost of Ayrton Senna and turn around his fourth duff season in a row.

The story if this season seems already to have been written. And that is, "ooh, isn't this a good season with all these different winners".

It makes me wonder why McLaren are making so many mistakes to cock up Lewis's already slim chances. I think they are making them on purpose so that Lewis leaves for another team. How annoying a person must you be for that to happen?

When has Lewis moaned this year? He has done well to not take swipes at his team for cocking up his races and tried to keep a sunny outlook when he could quite easily have thrown his toys out.

That most people plump for Lewis each time as their prediction for a winner shows that you are the one in the minority with your views?

Manny, is this what it's like for you when we post up tripe about Schuey!? ;)

I'd have to say he should at least expect to win a couple, but as a whole, McLaren seem totally incapable of pulling it all together recently.

There's a lot of season left though and the pendulum could shift many times before the end... I'm certainly hoping for a couple though. I feel quite win deprived. :)

And Basil I can't recalll Hamilton moaning this year. Despite being well within his rights to do so.

I am backing Hamilton also this year, he and Michael have been in a similar situation, so good luck to the both of them, I wish them well.
    Dream finish would be: 1)Schumacher 2)Hamilton 3)Raikkonen.

Fixed. ;) I don't think Rosberg has the stomach for a title battle, how many pole positions has he spurned this season? Vettel will click sooner or later, and when he does it will be hard for Webber to match him. Lotus have arguably the best car, it's been pretty good in all scenarios, despite a bit of rustiness on Kimi's part and a couple of mishaps on the tyres he's still only a race win away from the lead of the championship.

Lewis did whinge pretty much all race yesterday, "what was wrong with my launch?", "who dropped that on my head?", "these tyres won't last", I'm sure there was something else as well, and that's just what they broadcast.

Fair point but those transmissions were the only entertaining thing about the race for me. ;)

Seems quite a funny and unusual misake that pit board slides should keep falling put and smashing into Hamiltons visor.

Didn't the team notice they were running out of slides

    Isn't that called feedback?

What was he supposed to say? My start was great no need for adjustments next time, can you please keep throwing stuff at my head as I find it very theraputic and my tyres are fine I'll keep on burning them up?

You'd have him up in front of the stewards for lying!
