There might be a little but of not wanting to be here. But I reckon at first he would of jumped at the chance to play here.

I still think tho, that we've just never played the style of football he needs.
I read somewhere his previous manager highlighted his style of play (ball down the channel for Grigg to run onto in the box and score) but realised in the championship he didn't have the squad capable of being set up to play to Grigg strengths so decided to move him on. Donald was an embarrassing clown on stid II

Not to sound controversial or anything but has Grigg not performed here because we've never played to his strengths. He had a half decent record before he signed here.

I'm sure you'd agree that we seem to have a history of just buying players randomly. Instead of to fit a specific system or tactics.

I'm sure he'd do well if he went there.

Grigg has not performed here for a number of reasons, including poor service.

But he also did not want to come, commuting for a year and a half from the bloody North West, has missed numerous sitters anyway, looking terrified to be playing for us, is half arsed, and frankly well passed his best, whatever that was.

I do have some (not much) sympathy with Donald on Grigg. It was one of the few times Donald actually did his best to get promotion.

Of course none of it made sense - losing Maja and then spending more money than you got for him on Grigg.

Donald did his best here but its a prime example of him being entirely and completely out of his depth and unprepared. He had no idea, and by skimping on the people he brought in to advise him, they had no idea as well. And he knew they had no idea so went over them.

I guess I'm just saying it felt like one of the few times he was actually trying to do what was right for the club (probably out of regret for Maja)

Out of desire to make a profit and be popular I suspect.

It sounds like an exagerration but I genuinely think once KLD takes over we would be more likely to give a club £2.5m to take Grigg than have a bid of £2.5m to accept for him.

Apparently it's Northampton Sileby Rangers FC.
They've offered £250 and we've said it's a deal as long as they take Graham too.
Deal fell through then.

Now cheeky..

Yes for the team to score more goals, I reckon I can say all posters on here recognise we need better strikers and to get rid of useless ones. Bearing in mind the salary cap. A couple of Loans of youngsters from the Premier league would do, a la Danny Welbeck?

The thing is, they have to ge the right ones. We had that kid from Spurs a couple of seasons ago who might as well have not been here for all the impact he had. Then Semenyo last season, though to be fair the curtailment probably stopped him getting much of a real chance. Getting them in is easier said than done at the minute as real quality ones are likely to be in and around the first team so won't be that likely to move and the salary cap buggers up getting in anyone 22 or over. That said it's probably the best way to go for now.

We could try and get those two who left last year back in, or better still try Curry now, or Kimpi once he is fit.

well we would lose money on them two going but get the Plymouth top striker in for starters and the Shrewsbury number 5 and12 players they caused us problems on Saturday. There are loads of good players i have seen this season in this division.

My car needs a good run out. Hasn't done more than 2 or 3 miles in a journey for months!

My son got new car last March (69 reg). He then got asked to work from home. It has a run out at the weekend and only has 200 miles on it. My car is going back next month and just going to use his.
