Affleck replacing Bale is all over Marca's website... If you look very closely, you can see me peeking out of the undergrowth on the left. please log in to view this image
Spanish newspaper Marca claims that preparations are underway for Gareth Bale to be unveiled at Real Madrid tomorrow. The paper has published a photo of the Bernabeu, where they claim a stage is being erected in the directors box for Bale's arrival. (Source: BBC Football website) ...and we're back to the doom and gloom.
I hope Levy has nabbed Coentrao. Otherwise we're walking the last minute tightrope again on a number of players and we know how that has gone previously.
Bale situation all over. Think again. Spurspanyol ‏@spurspanyol 5m Oh dear.. Bale is now "considering a new contract"? ... #silence
Levy has now said he is considering bids from more than one club and that a deal with Madrid hasn't been agreed on SSN. Seeing as he's on his way back from Spain, could Utd be in the running with Madrid showing their hand. Would you take 80million and Hernandez for him?
It's a good deal but I would rather he went abroad. Although it would be a kick in the balls to Chelsea
The only prem clubs that could cough up that type of money atm would be Chelsea, Arsenal and the two Mancs. Chelsea and City have splashed out already this summer, but have the wonga to throw about if they wished. Utd have still to make a major move and could have the cash to hand, but would their fans approve. Arsenal have money and no true Spurs fan should entertain the idea of Bale going there. To answer your question, No, if he's to go, I'd rather abroad.
We could flirt with arsenal til the last minute before selling abroad leaving no time for any further business for them
This is being reported by SSN. Well. So much for the slathering press and hack journos who were getting ready to rub themselves raw when Bale was unveiled on Perez little stage, on Tuesday. Best put those "Bale" shirts back in their boxes, too, eh. It's being reported that Bale is on his way back to the UK and will be re-joining Spurs for training on Tuesday. Looks like business as usual. I must say, I did find this quote from Ancelotti to be very amusing - not because it is funny, but because of the bare-arsed cheek of it:- "I don't like to speak [about the Bale saga] for two reasons, first of all because Gareth Bale is not a player of Real Madrid at this moment, and also because I need to have respect for my players." Oh, yeah? What respect have the likes of Perez, Rat-Boy, and Zidane (to name a very small few) shown towards either Spurs or their own players? None, arsehole!
This is the ****test Bale article I've seen yet! http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/aug/26/gareth-bale-contract-real-madrid What the **** is a street vendor supposed to know about Bale leaving? He's getting rid of old stock for a player that's rumoured to be leaving, meaning no one will want it. "Bale is due to fly into Luton on Monday, where he will await the all-clear before returning to Madrid in a private jet, arriving at a small airport to the west of the city." Return to Madrid he wasn't even there in the first place, unless they're saying he's returning after our CL game there 3 years ago.

I thought it offered an alternative view from someone who makes his living from the sale of sportswear. I mean who would want to buy Bale shirts now he's 100% a Real player (only collectors maybe).
