Hope he stays as he is a brilliant player. Not sure he will get a much better deal elsewhere so maybe we could get a 20k a week deal plus a 15k appearance bonus or something like that.

It is for the player who is meant to be our 'star performer'.

Certainly think he's played his last game for us.

Believe he won't play again this season, will leave for free in the summer and save us a load of money in wages.

Talented, but hugely unreliable and if his achilles keeps going pop he'll be fighting for his career by 26/27.

A fair summation I think Mr King.

I think Bruce would prefer to keep him, but would want him playing rather than continually sidelined. This has the hallmarks of a reverse Bullard deal .. i.e Palace willing to take a talented injury prone player, pay us some dosh towards a Danny Ings / Jordan Rhodes / Shane Long.

I wonder too if Bruce was pushed to an extent by club finances regarding Charlie Austin showing the clubs stance on injury prone players.

(P.S. whilst I was disappointed to see N Pearson take a backward step in his career when leaving Hull City AFC Tigers HCFC City Tigers, it is with some alarm that I see he has now taken to watching men wee in forests. The dirty bugger I never thought he was like that).
