I saw that **** driving down the bottom of my road the other day in his range rover. He looked like Gollum, only more gormless.
No he wasn't, care to explain how what he said was wumming? Care to explain how what you're doing ISN'T wumming? You're pissing people off now Matt, just stop.
This. As always matth, get a grip or you will end up banned again. If you can't have at least a vaguely sensible debate, then you don't belong on a debating forum.
Must say hope Zaha has improved, when Southampton played against him in the CL he was pretty bad. He is a tricky guy that gets himself into good positions but his finishing and final pass selection is really lacking. When Southampton were buying Clynne from Palace there was talk of Zaha as well (for 5 mil) and most on the Saints board were ready to jump off the roof. Just to point out though, he got into football at a really late age (around 14) so he is in for a really steep learning curve
Interesting you say he was a late starter. Wasn't Drogba the same? I recall he had missed out on the academy system in France and was not a pro into his 20's.
that comes with more experience and maturity the fact he will be surrounded by so many gifted classy players will help alot
10mil? I think you've got that wrong. I guarantee Inter are now kicking themselves I know Rafa failed miserably at Inter - but his plan for the future (that didn't get chance to materialise) was to centre his ream round Mr C Swarbs I know you're a wise man and you must of seen him play?? - would you have this failed kid from Inter at your club, bias aside? For me and a lot of my fellow fans he's been our best player since joining. This coming season, I truly believe the PL will recognise a true star in the making. Also who's the £13mil 18 year old you speak of? Memory blank..
He may be talking about Ronaldo but I though he was £12 million. As for Coutinho, I think he's one of the best players Liverpool have got and I think he's the man to replace Gerrard, so yes I would have him in the United team. Although I think you are over-hyping him during his time at Inter, he played well but he was just breaking into the team when Rafa was in charge and then wasn't used very much afterwards. You did get him at a snip though.
Which is why it is better he went to Utd rather than a team like Chelsea, at least at Utd he will be given a chance
Inter may be kicking themselves, but they may well have seen it all before - Coutinho had some great runs of form for them followed by periods of mediocrity. There's still a long way to go before he can be seen as a true star. I saw him a bit last season, but not much. He looks like the real deal, but then plenty of players move to a new league and set it alight then fade out in the following season. It'll be interesting to see how he does this season, particularly if Suarez leaves and he has to work under tougher conditions.
I remember a lot of Chelsea fans saying that about Ronaldo back in 2003 and 2004 when you had Duff, Kezman, Robben and co. New Ronaldo. Written in the stars
and De Bruyne can start for Chelsea but not Zaha !! amazing how every fan exaggerate how good their young players are before hitting the wall time to be mature enough and let the time do all the talking
Including you. How many positions can Zaha play again? De bruyne can play am/rm/lm/cm/stiker. He played ALL of these positions for werder bremen last year.
