Diouf was on fire too in Hannover 96 and helped his club to finish 5 places above Bremen, so let us don't get excited here Dortmund themselves value De bruyne at £12m De bruyne is 22 zaha is 20 , Zaha has a lot to add to in those 2 years Zaha is better skills/pace/physical wise and he can add more flair and unpredictability in our game, but De bruyne is better when it comes to scoring goals, he is good crosser and passer too Zaha is a more a game changer than De bruyne, and yes may be you have too many game changers in chelsea with alike of Mata and Hazard so you may not need another game changer, but De bruyne is just like your rest of attacking mid players who don't work hard enough defensively, so he is not adding alot, so i can see why chelsea may end up loaning him out again when you need more hardworking players to track the ball back and balance the attacking power you have at the mid
You're joking right? Have you even watched him play? Think i read a stat he covered the most distance in the bund last season. Edit - Are AM don't track? Oscar was in the top 3 in most tackles made in the confed cup. Also, did you see the job he's done on pirlo, arteta.. etc?
Just like it didn't change the fact that Robben was better than Ronaldo in 04/05. Remind me how that worked out again?
He was though. What i'm saying is De bruyne is the better player at the moment. Who knows, Zaha could become the enxt Ronaldo
I've heard that rumour too Ultimately the whole 'better player' discussion is pointless anyway. All that really matters is how well the players play together and how the team does. I'd be perfectly happy if every Chelsea player was 'better' than every Utd player as long as we win the league. Much like every Liverpool player has been 'better' than every Utd player for the past 23 years
if you mean running all time in other teams half as a working hard defensively am sure you never watched the guy here is his latest heatmap available in the match Belgium vs USA 2 months ago and you can see clearly he spend all his time in the other team half please log in to view this image source : ESPN soccernet
Did he even need to track back? They were facing usa ffs. I'd love to see Kagawa's one, because he does so much defensive work, right?
USA 22nd according to FIFA and ahead of the likes of France & Czech Republic, . Not exactly pants mate. England are only 7 places above them.
USA is a very solid side and not easy to beat regarding Kagawa , he is our most if not only advanced attacking mid, so we can afford that.. but chelsea, have Hazard, Mata and Oscar , do you seriously need another one? i checked on ESPN site, and seem Kagawa is spending most of his time in the mid and not as advanced as De bruyne here is some samples please log in to view this image source : ESPN soccernet
De bruyne can play CM/AM/LM/RM. His passing is very Alonso like, probably the best passer in the team.
no one is questioning his passing ability or crosses or his goal scoring . am not sure the comparison with Alonso is correct though .. one is attack minded the other operate at the back but you have similar attack minded players in the team, do you need another one? i doubt it
