I'll ask again, Why do you criticise Laudrup for the players not performing after reaching 40 points last season and do not criticise Monk for ensuring they gave their all Saturday? Please no bull**** responses to avoid the question, just answer the question directly.
I haven't been involved in this but I don't think you have answered the question actually. I was furious with Laudrup and the players for the way they played v Fulham last season in the last game and I'm equally furious with Monk and the players now. If you were giving Laudrup a hard time over the result last year it's rather strange you don't take the same attitude now. Saying you were right all the time and predicted it would happen doesn't really explain your inconsistency does it? Also, saying how great you are all the time is tiresome. Just saying.
Welcome to the world of Dai, he likes to blow his own trumpet, most are privvy to his sorry excuse of replies, but he continues, because he knows, if he was to answer the question properly, we would all see him for the hypocrite he is, and he is too proud to go and do that, so instead he replies with his usual bile to try and get away from answering properly. You see Dai has always moaned about ML's end of season form drop, where as there are many of us who seen it for what it was, some good performances, but didn't quite have that extra 5% boost you get when your actually playing for something. As for the Fulham game, that was indeed a weird game, didn't Fulham hit us 3 times on the counter, and the scoreline flattered them all ends? But its what happens when your not fighting for something, you lose that edge that is the difference between winning and losing. Something Dai has used to fuel his hatred for ML since it happened, you will always see him go on about the "last 38 games" or whatever is was, because it suits his agenda, and now that his agenda is to praise Monk, his opinion on an end of season dip in form, is as you can witness with his replies, just fine, and is part of the end of season normalities. So my question is all about why all the hypocrisy. Take me and Valley in another thread, I posted stats, Valley asked me to show league only, I did, and it didn't help my stance, but I was asked, and I felt it only fair to respond to Valley, of course I added my own personal spin on it, but I answered the question regardless, something Dai hasn't got the stomach for.
Fair play Swanselona, you do address the issues and answer the question. We may not always agree with each other - but, hey, that is what forums are for! Anyway, I am one who has looked at and quoted the last 38 games in the PL under ML and those obviously include the end of season games last season. As such, it is only right and proper to judge GM in the same light re last Saturday's game with Southampton - which was poor to say the least.
