Better still, I'm going to ask Monk to start going for the killer blow in games, time to start finishing off teams good and proper, not this faffing about in front of goal like some clueless ponce!................<laugh>

Just think, if we had a Luis Suarez in our team, with all the chances we are creating, we'd be doing what Liverpool did last season.

Relieved to see you and Geezer of the same opinion as me. I thought the world had gone mad when I read this story earlier.

P.S. Dai, pop back onto that thread on the Leicester board <ok>

This is very true. all our strikers are below average for the amount of chances they get. they need to work on that part of their game...

It's getting to the point where context no longer matters. If he 'blacks up', wearing stereotypically 'black' clothes, making stereotypical 'black' phrases and gestures, then, yeah, it's racist. But he's dressed in a Swansea kit imitating one particular player, a fellow sportsman, who he knows. He probably went around doing Bony goal celebrations and flexing his muscles like as if he's Bony. That's not racist. He's imitating a particular person only, not a stereotype.

A world where context no longer matters is a world that will slowly but surely eat away freedom. You are able to imitate a person of any race in good taste and bad taste. By all means, censor and prosecute the people who do it distastefully, but something as innocent as this? Of course, I'm happy to reverse my opinion on this if someone can confirm whether he pretended to be 'black' all night. That would've been distasteful as he would not have been specifically mimicking Wilfried, instead stereotyping a large volume of people. But then...you think of Robert Downey Jr in Tropic Thunder? Was that racist? You think of the Wayan Bros in White Chicks dressing up and stereotyping blonde girls. One rule for Hollywood, another rule for the world?

What about impressionists taking off the welsh or irish accents, everyone laughs at that..Mike Yarwood was the best imo and he appeared in font of the queen at the royal Variety. People go overboard and play the race card to easily when its not needed. Its a bit of fun and nothing else..

Would there have been the same fuss if WB had whitened his face and gone to the party as Liam Williams. I doubt it. BK wht you say makes sense there was no malice in this at all.

Apparently Bony has said he is okay with it, if so I would like him to publicly say so and for him to tell everyone it is his opinion that actually matters because Williams was dressing up as him, and not an ethnic group.

He is in for the Villa game and should start, and Leon and Siggy are fit too, so hope we continue our good record against Villa. Ever wondered why Bony is such a good defender for us too? Well by all accounts he started his football career as a Defender? One game he stood in for an injured Striker, and did so well the rest is history..........<cheers>
