Well I like the look of the lad that scored against us. Just what we're looking for, a striker with some pace.
yeah he looked good . im always a bit worried about signing players tht look good against us though, classic examples being kevin amankwa and Darren way ! both used to run the show against us and when we signed them they never really did anything, though way was a permanene tinjury in fairness.
dai so are you saying that the likes of sunderland, fulham, palace, cardiff, west ham, hull newcastle, stoke would easily of disposed of kuban I personally dont think so they were a big strong and technically sound unit who would quite easily do a job in the prem I feel.
One other aspect of Bony's game that hasn't been mentioned is that he is one of our best defenders at set pieces.
I have mentioned it in the past when discussing the need of our wide men to cross the ball more. As Bony seems to win 90% of balls that come in from set pieces in our own area, so if he can do it there, he can do it up the other end.
Without doubt , how many times does he win the ball and it goes out from the danger area . his heading ability is unsurpassed in the side . and yesterday's game he must have won at least 90% of 50-50 balls up field .Great technique
NJ totally agree , get it wide and get it across to him, the new M G , to be fair put a lovely ball into him and he just swept it into the net without hesitation fr his second, maybe Michu being out may be a blessing in disguise.......
With Bony it has always been about service more than his fitness, though the both need working on, He looked good at the end of some decent service on Sunday, and that's the positive I took out of the second half, 'Feed the Bony and he will score', and can we start playing for two halves please!...............
