One question... Does Fury get his shorts from the same shop as Lee Cattermole???

Its mad how much stuff is on PPV mind. I mean, I'm not as bothered when it's a fight like Wilder v Fury but some of the stuff they expect you to spend on is ridiculous, there's been boxing matches that wouldn't seem out of place on channel 5 and they've wanted £20 or whatever! I'd happily pay quite a lot to experience a big fight in person, but shelling out to watch on tele when most of the time the undercard seems **** and the main event might be over in two minutes just doesn't appeal. Then we had the years when the bairn was into wrestling and every month there was a £15 PPV.

Still, this one was a decent fight and glad to see Fury win it. I'm not massively into boxing (too many belts, too often the best fighters avoid each other until they're past their peak, too many absolute mismatches) but do love it when theres a big fight on

This bout was very scrappy with lots of cuddling and very few punches landing cleanly, though I enjoyed watching it.

I haven't watched any boxing for many years, and that wasn't impressive at all, compared to what I used to watch . . . . The Greatest's fights when boxing was an art

Maybe I was spoilt, but it reminded me about how good Ali was . . . . the best without any doubt

Can't say I agree with that. In my opinion it was a very entertaining fight, with a lot a decent punches landed.

Sometimes fury can be a bit boring in the ring, but not in this fight.

He was agile, powerful and very brave. Never been too keen on him, but warmed to him massively after this fight.

I can see where you are both coming from. Gordon is right that Fury's tactics were to smother Wilder's big punch by getting in close and personal with his arms around his neck each time he threatened, but then Fury also mixed this with a hell of a lot of cracking long range jabs and a lot of hurtful blows. Wilder was an absolute mess by the end that's for sure.

According to the BBC report this morning, Wilder has blamed his ring walk costume!

Fury didn't hurt me at all, but the simple fact is that my uniform was way too heavy for me,"

" No matter what it looked like, I was still in the fight."

From the bits I have seen, it was definitely the heavy uniform, not his nearly 20 stone opponent unloading punches into his face and body at will <doh>:emoticon-0102-bigsm
