In its own way, this will be every bit as hard as the City game was but for its own very different reasons. We have done well but we are not out of the woods yet. Wigan are very much stuck in the woods but will see this game as a chance for all 3 points. They will have to come at us and as we showed on Sunday, we can counter attack very effectively these days. Its going to be very tough physically and mentally but I fancy we will at least come away with a draw. The win would be terrific. If we have 24 points after 20 games tonight, I'll be a happy little bunny and I'm setting off to go there in about 3 hours time for my first away game in years.
In many ways thia is the ideal MON game, defend nd hit on the counter attack is his style and that goal from Ji may just kick start Bendy

Well as I got sunday's prediction wrong, I could see us scrape a draw but a win I did not see that. So in one weekend, Manure, Chitty Chelski and the Gooners all lost. That would have been a good bet to put £10 on. So what do the runes tell us for tonight, my guess is some of the lads will be knackered but on a high, Another factor is will MoN rest some players for the cup game so some of them get really go for it tonight? Wigan are a mercurial side you never know what you will get. There is of course an argument for keeping the same side, but if Rico and Bardo are fit (Brown I have read is out?) there is a good argument or freshening the side up a little. Gardner and Colbeck can always come on as subs in the second half. Should Ji get a start? I would still go with Bendtner to start. Ji and Noble can start the cup game. Larsson's fitness may be in doubt also.
Assuming those that did not start on Sunday are fit I would start with Westwood, Bardsley, O'Shea, Killgallon, Colback, Larsson, Gardner, Cattermole, Richardson, Sess, Bentdner. Vaughan did an awful lot of chasing on Sunday so may rest him. Richardson over mclean a tough call but go for experience although wouldnt mind mclean starting. 3 points tonight woud be massive!
All we need to do is keep the defence/midfield tight and not let any stupid goals go in, as we normally do. If we can get a 3-goal lead, that would be perfect, if it's just 2, 1 goal and they're back in it.
yep mate them Kenyans love us, and loads are converting to the stripes, just look at the following they have now on facebook
The mags get 5 days off as well !. We should have got the game switched to wed, but Villa etc had only 2 days rest also.
It's gonna be windy so hold onto your hats............This could go any way so I'll take a draw but I'm hoping win!
On this occasion i'll put it down to your mind being elsewhere due to the excitement of the pending 3points. For future reference ensure ur wit is quicker then Sydney at all times, here endeth the sermon hahahha
