Harry said he was picking an attacking team but I haven't seen that. That said it may be a bit boring but I think we are winning tactically and 0-0 would suit us, or even better a 1-0 win with a counterattack. I think it is over to them to change the second half because if it continues as the first half we hopefully will get at least a draw. Not great to watch but would set us up for the second leg, but I think that could be real tight too.
Didn't expect to be entertained in the playoffs after the season we've had. But the playoffs in itself is entertainment enough for me! That said, I can't ever recall a team defending themselves to the Premier League through the playoffs. At some point during these legs we have to be adventurous and take the game to them.
Satisfied with that, although dunne still looks a liability. Time to get ravel/hoillet/traore running at their men on yellows
How can any of our forwards excel under Rednapp's rediculously over cautious tactics that we have had to endure all year I have actually fallen asleep in 3 matches this season I know I'm old and I have been watching the R's for 54 years but ffs. In a way I hope we stay where we are get a young management team ie Ainsworth/Derry bring the youngsters through with some of the better pros and form a proper team the fans can relate to!
Unfortunetly could not get day off work today, had to deliver up in scotland, but on way back down M6 was impressed with amount of the lads and lasses on their way up to Wigan with several flags flying fron vehicles, kudos to the 3000 who made the long journey OOP NORTH for this one on a friday, but did feel sorry for them as the feckin M6 on a friday afternoon makes the M25 look like silverstone on raceday.Just got in myself as sourhbound was crap as well, but they should be well pleased with how it going up to now.
I think tactics are just about right. Defend and hope for a breakaway goal on the counter. On that basis though not exciting, i'm quite pleased. Think we could definitely score.
This is pretty representative of this season mate. Given what's at stake I can understand it today, but it's not QPR.
Wingers on the wrong side still, two opportunities lost because of it in 2 minutes. Traore's looking up for it, get him on the left.
