Was hoping we'd go for it with 2 strikers but at least with Phillips, Johnson and Chev we've got some attacking options on the bench if needed.

I am not sure about that midfield myself. It just seems a bit lightweight.
If they give us no time on the ball like Burnley we will be second best again.

Harold may be thinking that Wigan will try to play football rather than simply try to stop us play - Martinez influence still there, and at home, and that we will try and play football back. Hopefully a good game. Let's have a go, 1 or 2 points out of 9 is not pretty.

I'm going to try and sneak away from work a bit earlier today, so I can get home sttle in for the ko, hopefully following the BBC London 94.9 commentary and/or the Bet 365 live "wave".

An early goal for us would be a nice surprise, would perhaps take the home crowd support out of the game, although in recent years Wigan has proved to be a tough nut for us to crack. This is also their 3rd game in less than a week, playing Europa League last Thurs and at Charlton on Sun.

3 central midfielders should mean that we'll be ok in there. O'Neill moves inside a lot too. Lack of width could be the only problem unless the full backs get forward more.

I'm happy with no henry, still hard to see where the goals will come from. We should go 442 if they play a high pressure game and get then all forward earlier. Redknapp was clueless when Burnley did it.

Chevanton on after 45-55 mins if we aren't winning.

Great work Nines, much appreciated <ok>

I quite like that side, afraid we lack pace in the centre of midfield though, might get overrun. Can see a couple of cynical yellow cards taken (hopefully).

No Henry, hope Flyer have stacked up with plenty of

This is Jenas's and Faulins time to dominate

Get a lead and then bring on Henry

Not sure that we can chase a game....

Come on uRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrs

I'd need those if he was playing or not. It would be for tears if he was in the team.

People should switch on hearts v hibs just to see Rowan vines lumberjack beard.
