    2nd half much better after going 4 4 2. But for the crossbar could have been a lot closer and who knows had they went in.

    I really am not too bothered about losing because now people will stop talking up 3rd and 4th. We were doing fine as the darkhorse. Perhaps Blackburn will do us a favour.

    Fair play they were just too quick out of the blocks for us. Sleepy start on our part but you also have to credit Martinez who got the better of Pardew tactically. To be fair Pardew tried to react by changing us round twice. They've been in great nick too and have outplayed Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal recently so no fluke. Various things we could have done better defensively.

    Willo should have been stronger for the first, Colo should have put the ball safe on the 2nd, Krul got his angles all wrong for number 3 and Di Santo could have been closed but it was just pure class.

    I think that's the toughest one out of the way. I was hopeful of a point but so be it. We can bounce back and use our sloppy play as a motivator for Chelsea. I think we can win there and beat City if we're on our game. Then everything will be wide open for the last.
