That was so bad it's almost funny. I just watched a game featuring so many **** players for both sides it looked like a League 2 game. System was wrong selection was wrong everything was ****ing wrong with that.

It sounded a pretty typical City display we have come to expect these days, devoid of quality and application. I can't understand why Nigel made so many changes, it should have been just Irvine for Batty and Lichaj for Kingsley, as it sounds as if Kingsley just wasn't at the races.
I’m sure Nigel has highlighted all these concerns, on a positive note ehab has bought him some new highlighters.
We did a lot of things wrong in the transfer window, but one that went more unnoticed than other areas was the utter neglect showed to recruitment in central midfield. We don't have a proper battler in the squad, and I'd say we only have 2 genuine CMs in the whole squad (Stewart/Batty) as all of the others, Henriksen, Irvine, Evandro & Toral are all attacking midfielders. It's no surprise that we're losing the midfield battle game in game out as a result, keeping one of Meyler or Larsson would've made a big difference in there

Needs a midfield general, battler or whatever you call them nowadays. Not stumping up the cash for Norwood was a bad mistake. Shame really as with Martin and Elphick it would have made a decent spine. I think we can expect a lot more of the same.
Did Burnsy ask Adkins what Hendricksen brings to the team - Leadership qualities -?? Has a quiet chat to the ref occasionally after a foul -should be in his face all game,he's captain fgs. Walks around looking at the ground. Cant keep up with play or doesn't want to, so hangs around at the back, so deep he's nearly behind Marshall. Avoids moving in to space in case someone passes him the ball. Piss weak in the tackle, so takes a step back so he doesnt have to. Ball playing skills - nil Motivational skill - nil Where's this wonder kid who was in the top ten young talents in the world at one time. Surely we must have better .....................lol
