Delph sees red.

A bit of a wreckless challenge. Not sure it was a straight red, but seen players sent off for similar.

Kicking off now, Man City down to 10.

Not sure about that one. The ref got the yellow out and then changed his mind after the Wigan lads surrounded him, looks a bit dodgy that.

His leading leg was very high and out of control, I think that's what swung it.

Thing that bothers me there isn't the challenge, as it's definitely a rough one, but that he gets out the yellow and writes Delph down on it first and then changes his mind. It makes it look like he isn't even fully sure of his own decision, which in that scenario, if he isn't sure, he should give the yellow.

The fact he changes his mind straight after half the Wigan team surrounds him doesn't help either. Makes him look weak as piss.

Referee has embarrassed himself there, was writing Delph's number on the yellow card and let the Wigan players change his mind.

Never a red, good strong tackle that would have been applauded a few years ago but is probably a yellow card these days.
