Didn't LCD TVs go on general sale before plasma s, though plasmas were invented years ago. Got a plasma myself, better, more natural, picture than an LCD with wider viewing angles.
We sold 55,000 tickets for the Rotherham game, still quoted as a record for that level of football in many books. Reason for the smaller crowd was that there was a bus strike. It was on a Christmas Day,ourselves and Grimsby being the only teams allowed to play on Christmas Day because of the trawler fleets. Still amazing to think that many still turned up when very few had cars. Obviously made of sterner stuff than the present day fans.
I forgot Millwall were in the semi final, more concern for us after such a big game will they be up for Tuesdays home game against Watford
If they get through they should be playing for places in the starting line up for the final. Surely you'd want to be going into a final in good form.
I Don't give them much of a chance if i am honest even though it would be good for a championship team team to get to a final, the point i was making is with it been such a big build up, giving everything for this massive game then will it be a big come down for there next game
Let's be honest, Wigan couldn't give a **** about the Cup, they've got the more pressing matter of trying to finish in the top 17 to worry about.
