Not counting my chickens in any way, but can anyone remember what time the semi finals kicked off last season? They’re scheduled for Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April, and I will be flying back from Spain at 12.10 (local time), with an eta of 14.10 (local time) on the Sunday.
It was just a handful of Southampton kids throwing stones and trying to be hard. It was very uncomfortable, but not much happened. They were being complete dick heads.
Fair enough, I wouldn't know I've just seen it mentioned on both SW and one of their forums that there was a bit of needle by the canal. We do (like most clubs) seem to have a few dickheads who follow us, more so than 10 years ago anyway.
I was right there when it was going on. Had my lad and father in law with me, so we backed off a little bit you could see it was some teenagers (at a guess)who started a bit of pushing going over the canal, then throwing stones. I was embarrassed.
Few things more embarrassing than some 17/18 year old lad jumping up and down on the spot with his arms outstretched shouting "come on then you ****s!" Seeing Wigan fans the other night though and now knowing this I'll be keeping my wits about me when up there (providing I can go). Are you going to it?
If I can get tickets for me and the boy, yes. Shouldn’t be a problem for me as ST still in my name, but not for the lad. If not I still may go with father in law.
Kick off time will probably dictate that tbh... If it's a Friday or Monday night I don't see us selling 4,800. Is your lad a member?
Well I'll probably get my two through my STH friend that I've got most of my away tickets from this season and am planning on grabbing one on my membership anyway. I don't even know who's taking the second ticket yet let alone the third but I'm sure I'll find someone. I wouldn't be all that surprised to see it make general anyway tbh. This is of course providing it's not Friday/Monday night as if it is I'm going to have to try and swap some shifts at work.
I could of course just be a **** Dad and get one for me on the ST. I can also get him one on my Dad’s ST, but you can no longer select U17 rather than over 65. Might just do that and chance it because U17 is cheaper than over 65 and we’d be paying more for his ticket.
You'd be fine doing that... doesn't matter if you're not techinically sat together either, you just squeeze him in once there.
I think the TV schedule is Fri - Mon, i.e. with the weekend slots filled we will be either Friday or Monday night game. Interestingly, Spurs are due to play Newcastle in the league on that friday night, so presumably they could just take the friday night fa cup slot?
That wasn't the case last year, there was no Friday night game... and you'd need special dispensation from fifa for a Monday night game as it's international week.
Didn't realise it was international week. At least it won't be a monday then. Last year there were two games on the saturday, one sunday and one monday. Praying it's on the weekend.
