My first game was Birmingham at home, Mark Dennis got sent off and started chucking lumps of the pitch at fans in the old west stand.

He was going about how they had 26 attempts on goal or something ridiculous like that!

He must have been watching a different game to the rest of us!

91 season. Bristol city at home. We won 4-2 on the way to winning the league and becoming one of the starting premier league teams. Only twenty clubs can say that.
    I was fifteen.

What was the score of that 1972 game against Liverpool?

I can't for the life of me remember!

First game I remember going to was us beating Charlton 3-1 at Portman Road.

Bloody sat behind the dug out and as a young couldn't see much of what was going on in the middle 3rd

Most memorable was Cundy scoring a header.. I think Johnson scored that day as well.. TWTD

My first game was when we played Notts County away in 1981. We won 4-1. A great result for my first game. I also got the autographs of all the Ipswich team including the great Sir Bobby Robson on the back of the programme. How I wish I still had it. I remember standing outside the changing rooms getting them to sign as they went in. I even saw John Wark in his undercrackers :emoticon-0104-surpr Not sure if I should have admitted to that

We always seemed to do well against Notts County.

I remember getting John Chedozee (spelling) 6 bloody times when collecting the Panini football stickers! He played for Notts County before moving to Spurs.
