“ Let them play ref, let them play “ Anyone know what film that’s off Answers on a postcard ****all if your right....
Sunderland don’t have a game that weekend as their game with Fleetwood is off. Surely makes sense for the EFL to start fitting these sorts of games in if gaps appear like this?
It sounds sensible but I'm not sure how it would impact fixtures further downstream. So we play Sunderland instead of Wigan, Wimbledon play Fleetwood, whatever. Then we get to the dates when we were supposed to play Sunderland, we can't 'cos we already did, who do we play instead? Ok, Lincoln, can't they're down to play somebody else. Accrington? No they're away at Oxford, and so on. I think it just kicks the problem down the road.
Theyve got to be played and with no crowds looking g likely til Easter just gonna have to fit games in wherever
You have to wonder whether the EFL Cup match against Fleetwood on the 12 January will go ahead too - they cancelled two games on 31 December.
Cancel the season now !!! Us and Lincoln go up....can't see a problem with that. . it makes sense to me
Too much money in football with betting & TV companies, can’t see the season ending, even the lower leagues.
Lincoln are out the FA Cup so they haven't got a game either, so there's one fixture that could be played.
It seems City have suggested that we should replace it with the Sunderland game, but it sounds like it's unlikely it will happen.
