I think it’s the general lack of a third midfielder gifting Wigan too much time and space in the centre of the pitch. The pitch is poor but we should have got used to it’s lack of pace and started hitting decent passes that don’t invite the interception or tackle. I think Sims could cause some problems with his pace and directness. Defensively we are all over the place.
I`m struggling to see if Carillo has anything about him at all - first touch, movement, physicallity - nope.
Too many soft flair players. Desperately need JWP and Sims for Boufal and Tadic. Long for Carrillo (remind me again how much he cost?) is an obvious choice too.
Tadic off to be replaced by JWP - yes he is playing but you might not have seen him! Guido Carillo to be simply shot, yes shot, if a horse was that lame you'd put him down! £20 + million quids worth of ****e! Slower than my granny going round Tesco's doing her shopping on a week day!
Not really - I’d be biaised toward Wigan if I was commentating because they are the only team taking this seriously
Decent start to the second half by Saints. I still think we'd be more effective with a left-footed left winger and right-footed right winger but hey ho.
All puff no fart. Or whatever that saying is. Better though. That's the lack of confidence in the final third shining through.
