Momentum for play offs is vital. Stick to 4-2-3-1 and start and Clarke.

What a transformation. Today has been so much better. Everything about the performance improved. Arby at the back was very good wasnt he. If he can play like that for the rest of the season it would be a massive boost. Matete is very good, early yellow but would you wouldnt have known. Gooch was excellent and shows his value to the team. Stewart really stretched them.

Cracking effort lads. Well done Neil, signs there you have got some good organisation when we lose the ball.

Some people will say if that team had been changed a month ago we would have been 2nd now, great win though.

Went out, didn’t check the scores and we kick arse. Think I need to stick to this new Saturday formula. It may get us into the playoffs

Great win and a great team effort. Every player played their part and Arby was immense in his first full game.

once again (and i have no idea how or why you keep it up mate) cheers RTB...

son wanted me to drive him to stockton to look at a motor so missed the first half but to be honest, was thinking of giving the game a miss anyway and see if that changed anything (no, i am not gonna drive to stockton afore every game now) but got back for the 2nd half.

first impressions, back to a good push from the front winning the ball back numerous times, some better passing could have seen us hit 5 or 6 today but after recent performances we can excuse a little bit of nerves...defence, now just as i was about to mention this my son jumped in and said how we looked more of a unit at the back, what i saw was a back line who were not afraid the get their heads in and clear the ball, no backing off or letting the ball bounce, just deal with it and if you get a clout then tough but deal with the danger first.

have to wonder how these are doing as well as they are, is it 3 times we have beaten them this season...anyway, my thoughts this morning were this one will either kick start or finish our season, hopefully AN has sorted them out and instilled some new fight into them as although we did not 'play them off the park' we did a solid job starting at the back, great to see arby come in and do his part.

My timbers are well shivered. I couldn't face my usual Saturday afternoon checking how many we are getting beaten by so I went to the cinema to watch the Duke. Very funny, especially one of the comments by Newcastle bred Bunton about visiting the dark ... Sunderland. So you will not be surprised at how ... yes, shocked, I was to see the score.
Clearly, my role as a good supporter is to go to the cinema every time the lads are playing,
I'm floating .. and hoping it's not a one off.

Well I should predict a bit more often.
Deliberately stayed away from this thread during the match and that's worked well, so on the horns of a dilemma now.
Great result nevertheless well done lads, is this the season restarting now?

Great performance the signs were there in the MK Dons game just didn't execute.
No idea why he tried to change things on Tuesday but he learned from it.

Today compact organised and pressed great shape. Looks like he is relying on experience to stop the rot and kick on
Keep playing like that and then start to introduce some pace with the likes of Clarke Dajaku and Roberts

Also have to say Arby was outstanding. Seen him a few times for the U23's and didn't see that coming
He's composed but very aggressive. MOM for me.
