Why oh why do we immediately go defensive when we score? We can't defend a lead so why keep trying. I still think we have the quality of players to douch better in this poor division but they need to be organised and motivated from the training pitch, dressing room and touchline. Deep trouble now.
Ok we were robbed by an incompetent referee but did we deserve 3 points? No. Why? We only played for 45 minutes and even then only had one shot on target. Still should be able to run the clock down. Hudson picked the wrong starting 11. That first 45 was so bad, slow, clumsy and aimless. Ralls is just not good enough. Simpson is hopeless. Harris is so average. That’s 2 points in 3 basement home games v Blackpool Hull & Wigan.
I think Hudson got it dead right half time - the subs he made were spot on, but Zak Davies could have been taken off before he was. It was the wrong game for the lad with Wigan sitting so deep - he needs space to run into. Robbo for Ojo was also a good shout but could have happened earlier. Both Ralls and Wintle weren't at the races today - they created nothing. Very unlike me to advocate Sawyers but that was a game that would have suited him earlier. Finally, I thought Nelson had a blinder and sdeserves to keep his sopt for the Leed's game.
