Toivonen could be a good shout too.

Heard a few people say Rhodes but I've seen nothing of him, do know he hasn't been outside the championship tho so would be a risk.

Hopefully we get someone in straight away and don't take to long about it. Have a good feeling we've had someone lined up for a while tho.

 

Austin for me. Although someone with a bit of pace being fed by Lens would be ****ing mint.

Only worry about Austin is pace or lack of, more of a old school battering ram

Apparently west ham sniffing round sow according to bbc sport couple of days ago, prob usual bollox though.

Would go for Austin but I still think he's off to our neighbours.

 

Not sure what everybody sees in Toivonen but I must be missing it. He's never been prolific and I think there's a lot better out there.

 

Mags have just paid 8 mill for another player I've never heard of doubt they would cough up another 15 mill for Austin..

Neighbours up the road have spent a pretty penny up to now, be interesting to see how they get on.

 

I'd love us to go for Austin. Apparently a few times Lens beat a man last night and crossed it into the box and no one on the end of it.

Austin would be perfect for that - he scored loads from in and around the 6 yard box last season. I'd pay the £15million they want for him as well.

Sadly I reckon he'll be off to those lot up the road.

I don't think we can look at anybody other than Austin. Wickham plus about 5m for him would be the best bit of business since telling Toronto's Chairman Dozy was as good as Defoe!
