I've been to your ground and enjoyed the day, I have quite a few mates in the city and lived in Wilts for a couple of years. Had great chats with Brizzle fans on the way to Wembley from Croxley Green tube too, much better than the rowdy jeers from that Kentish club's fans.

To be fair, I have always liked the Shrews, more so after the banter we shared in the bars around London, and the way you took defeat on the chin. Im only here to get on AJ's nerves ;) and now Jenny too as she likes to make a mug of herself <laugh>

There is one certain fact. Shrewsbury are more attractive opposition than Brizzle.

    JPT 2008 Wycombe v Shrewsbury attendance 1730
    JPT 2011 Wycombe v Brizzle attendance 771

I won't even mention the scores to save Brizzle further embarrassment.

yes we did it in july this year shrews 2 manch utd 1. it is so nonchalent for a club like ours

    shrews 2 man utd 1
    shrews 1 wolves 0
    derby c 2 shrews 3
    shrews 3 swansea 1
    arsenal 1 shrews 3 provisional

oh and gas 1 shrews 3 provis.

we may not be a large club but our results and integrity speak for themselves

unlike the overgrown bunch of sour cream dunfords dairy bottlers of the memorial ground still trading on wins 55 years ago, albeit against man utd as they began assembling the busby babes, althougy i suspect man utd fielded bush babies.

You beat Man Utd under 15 reserves in a friendly. We thrashed the best united side to ever grace to English leagues by 4 goals to 0. Some mean feat that one <ok>

you also beat a Derby reserve side and a Swansea side concentrating on the league :) A thrashing from Arsehole will sort your attitude out young man!

cobblers, many of the busby babes were not about in 1956. i have a february 1958 copy of charles buchans football monthly. in there is a colour photo of the busby babes, wood was goalie not gregg charlton was not in the picture, mercifully both were to survive the horrors of munich and ever since 6.2.58 my second football club favourites have been man utd. 35872 attendance at eastville park was most impressive, how many can you pack in at the mem ground in case we bring a lot down on tuesday

Those were the days when Bristol Rovers had a proper ground and not a glorified shed. Luton was a mainstay of the top division, Blackpool finished 2nd and 4 clubs currently in the 3rd tier were also there. Glory days when Rovers finished above City in the second level. With these huge resources where did it all go wrong?

Chris, I see you are on the Shrewsbury board taking the piss for bottling promotion, just as you were on my clubs board (Cardiff) doing the same thing not so long ago. You do realise that you were relegated you inbred peasant so your hardly in a position to mock any team for bottling it.
