might have had a point if they'd been knocked out. And HIAG with his views doesn't remotely speak for most Spurs fans.
That's true.
My views tend to be more firmly rooted in reality.

I hear what you are saying bro, but it's all fantasy, Spurs can't even beat a tinpot team like Southampton, they stand no chance against the true Champions Elite, they've got lucky up until now. Imagine right, an injury to their penalty taker, their fooked, because that's how they score, duck and dive in the box, up steps Del Boy Kane, and the NFL fans dream again.
It's Spurs mate. I think we all know what will happen. They should dream though. If anything, HIAG lets himself down by talking of finishing above arsenal and not about still aiming to win the CL, but he's probably on a major downer after going from title contenders to fighting for 4th in the space of 2 weeks. Then again, Spurs could be 4-0 up in a game and I've known fans that still had something to moan about.

Spurs trying to get past the Southampton defence today...

Well i hoped that manager of theirs Pinnochio controlled his behaviour today and did no more of that running on the pitch bleating at the ref....it was so embarrassing to watch. Then have to watch him squirm and apologise afterwards, no wonder Manchester United went for Solskjaer and just looked at Mauricio and laughed, uttering as they turned their backs on him, seriously that guy is a joke!![]()
I think we may have lucked out tbh.So it's the not so Champions League trophy, you don't have to be Champions to actually enter it, but as long has you can finish above Arsenal they can dream, as i said mate, thanks for clarifying that Spurs are nothing but a bunch of pretenders and the rules had to to be modified from the European Cup to the Champions League to give Tottenham supporters any chance of ever entering and dreaming the dream.

Maybe they fell out over the new Colombian kid Martins been grooming. Why are you dissing your drinking buddy Martin Jol ?
If Tottenham won the Champions League - **** knows what their odds are btw, can’t be arsed to look - they would rightly be crowned Champions of Europe.
The more English teams that get the chance to “dream the dream”, the better it is for English football. It’s always better for England to be involved in Europe, on as many levels as possible. It’s called embracing the opportunities on your doorstep.
Spurs are just Keegan’s Newcastle United of this particular decade. Flashy loserball brought to you by a useless gimp, being fapped over by completely deluded fans. Eventually they will fall at the feet of Manchester United.
Simply put, it's like giving all the kids a losers medal at school these days. You used to just get one elite winner (European Cup) and now Tottenham fans can be winners too (not Champions League).
Not sure if you’re just trying to wind up the Spurs fans? Nothing wrong with that if you are.
But saying only last seasons domestic Champions should compete in the CL, is like saying only countries that topped their qualifying group should be allowed at the WC Finals; it’s a pointless argument, basically. They still have to go there and win it (or in Spurs case, probably not).

Well, they are still in it for now and have a sluggers chance in a WBA/WBC fight but at the end of the day it’s all about pedigree and winners and losers. Not sure if you’re just trying to wind up the Spurs fans? Nothing wrong with that if you are.
