I think it was nice of mm to give him the opportunity to play elsewhere :) to be honest he was never going to get another contract as he is getting on a bit now and a promotion pushing side (dont laugh) like us need younger players who have good all round ability and quality

Handy to have on the bench though as his experience and guile can still unlock defences. I'd have preferred to keep him until the end of the season.

Yes...this one is out of the blue. I can see some logic from McGleish's side;
closer to home and more chance of a contract for next season.
As an aside....just to show how bad things were under Buckle...Barnet did
the double over us....BLUDDY BARNET!!
I'd like to see McLaggon given a chance too.

And if his leg has healed, why not Lewis?
Imagine....Zebroski on the right flank and Lewis on the left!!!!!!! :laugh:

Good call by Mcghee,

It often happens when one of the players wants to be a manager and does not get the job, look what happened to Campbell.

To be fair given his age,for the future he is an impact player at best ,we can still get him back if desperate.

In the meantime he is getting matches with another team which will improve his fitness.
