This just came up in my memories on Facebook from 3 years ago today! 3 years ago we were looking forward to our first Cup Final. Steve Bruce was commenting on a result the previous season v Barnsley where we'd lost 2-0 & promotion look like it had been blown. Fast forward to last Saturday & we lose 2-0 to Sun'lan & our PL future looks bleak. For some weird reason I believe Marco Silva & Hull City will add another twist to this season & take it right down to the wire. My HUGE bizarre prediction for the football this weekend is Sun'lan to either beat or draw with Swansea & Hull City to do something they've never done to win a PL game in May & Marco Silva to get an away win & beat Palace. If this happens, it'll be back in Hull City's own hands & a victory against Spurs on the last day of the season is needed. If we don't beat Palace it's all over! #ComeOnCity #HullCityAFC
2 wins! not impossible. winning at Palace isnt an impossible doing. they got tonked 5 nil. they will be feeling ****ty about it, we have to get in their faces from the start.
I'm with Patty on this, come Sunday I'll have convinced myself that CP are there for the taking and that we'll do it. Mind you I also think Hernandez'll get a hat-trick this season, Escab'll have an epiphany and call us Hull City and MS 'll sign a 3-year contract...
Man U playing the kids due to an impending Euro Final isn't unknown - they did it versus us, at our place, in 08/09 - and still beat us 1-0. I think whichever United side turns out that day, an away win is much more probable than usual though. Unfortunately, I think we'll be down this weekend. I think Sunlun have 'proved their point now', so won't take the game to Swansea in the same way. I also see us losing or drawing at Palace after a close run game - a penalty for the home side is highly likely. Of course, we'll beat Spurs for certain if there's nowt on it.
MS was disrespectful to Sunlan, claiming that: we will win, the only concern is how many goals we score against them. To me that was arrogant and we paid for that.
We can and want to beat Swansea on Saturday (SAFC) we have not won for 5 months at home and want to end that run, and no pressure on us, but Swansea play the awful WBA at home last, so you would need to beat Palace and Spurs, although Chelsea will win the title on Friday leaving Spurs with nowt to play for. We beat Palace away 4-0 that is what you have to do win your last 2 games and Palace amazingly would go as I think Swansea will get to 38/39 points.
I didnt hear it first hand, I heard a pundit mention it on TalkShyte it wasnt me, I didnt claim it was, petty bastard. ****ing grow up
It was Niasse , Marco Silva would never say anything like that , Burnsy tried to talk to him about goal difference before the game and he was having none of it
I don't mind niasse thinking it but you don't say it to the press! ( typing niasse it came up misses )
