Does that include the extra 4 million that are now tax free?! Personal allowance is at a record high of over £200 week now being over 10.5k p.a so everyone benefits - rich and poor, compared to it being about 6.5k pa when Labour left power.

I am alright geet but still don't want a clown like Miliband at No.10 and god help this country if he is as Labour will continue where they left off 5 years ago and complete bankrupting the country. Stand by what I said that the Tories will be the biggest party but fall short of a majority.
All governments do Paul so what's the difference. The fact is more people are income tax free now than ever before. Think again if you think Labour will repeal it back to 17.5% if they're in power once they see how much extra money it brings in, plus the fact that it's EU law now and pro-Europe Labour won't take them on for a row to reduce it.
The increase in personal allowances was the liberals condition of support,the only tax cuts the tories did on their own back was for the rich.
I know it was but it's there now and they will get the credit for it in the ballot box come election time.

End of the day I shouldn't give a **** who wins as I'm mortgage free, will be completely debt free next month, am reasonably comfortable after the sale of our previous flat and earning very good money too boot. I still care though that Labour don't win so they're not in a position to **** the economy up and bankrupt the country again as they would just like last time.
