Those like musty and jackash are entitled to their opinion but reading posts about Cardiff being in the Prem (what's the BPL by the way?) and it being 'good for Welsh football' make me want to vomit. Depends on your individual history in following the Swans, maybe. They are our traditional rivals and if you'd been a regular down the Vetch, witnessed the 'swimaway' event; seen hordes of their supporters running riot down Oxford street, and not to mention the hard fought derbies you'd understand why. I've been watching the Swans since I was a kid in the mid 60s and it's always been the same for me and I make no apology for it. This kissy huggy love-in is sick. A huge section of their support wanted us to do a Derby this season and would have loved to have seen us humiliated, so I've no problem hoping they crash and burn.
I'd just like to clarify a few issues, firstly on footballing grounds, I would love to see Cardiff in the Premiership, but that said, there is the dark issue of their record as a club with some serious football hooliganism, it is a matter of fact, that they have a section of fans, that brings their club and the game into disrepute, and it's covered over by this thinly veiled 'family friendly label', that is always thrown up to cover over the damage done by their soul crew children. It's an issue that the Bluebirds really need to address once and for all, because while it may well continue to give the Bluebirds a bad name, there is the distinct possibility, that once Cardiff are promoted, that these issues could well spill over to contaminate us here at Swansea, and undo all the good work we have done for club and country, and it is for those reasons that I felt that this article needed putting up. I don't want the reputation of Wales, or our football here at Swansea, to be linked in anyway shape or form with this criminal behaviour that harks back to the 1970's and 80's, and it's time that Cardiff City football club, became more vocal in stamping out this issue, as they clearly are not doing enough, as the current level of banning orders testifies to. Make no mistake Cardiff City football club, must deal with this issue firmly, if they do not want to bring further shame on their club and Wales, and let's not forget, that when you are in the Premiership, you are on the world stage, so please Cardiff sort it out, and demonstrate that you have matured as a club, from the dark days of the 1980's!................ please log in to view this image
Of course all clubs have issues with yobs Ash, but I'm only interested in the issue that Cardiff has, which seems to be an acute one, because it could undo all the good that we as a club, here at Swansea have achieved, and it's not for no reason that Cardiff supporters are despised by other clubs, and it's not for no reason that, they have the highest number of banning orders in the entire league pyramid, so it's a subject that needs addressing by the Bluebirds, and needs discussing, because if any set of fans are going to cause a disgrace, you can bet your bottom dollar, it will be the Bluebirds!............... please log in to view this image
Jackash- For somebody that is so fed up with talking about cardiff you dont have put yourself about on the related articles What Dragon is saying is bang on , we ve all been away with the swans and felt the after effects of a visit by the bloobs, going away to places to find the bar has been closed "because we had cardiff here a few weeks back and were expecting more of the same " I think the Jack army have done a great job gaining respect from away supporters all over the country, i have a few mates from up in Newcastle and they described the Cardiff lot as sheer Vermin, couldnt beleive the difference when they came across the swans lot. The cardiff fans were throwing things down onto the family stand and caused alot of trouble in general. There are away day stop offs that are only open to swans fans not to cardiff fans,i think that says alot about the reputation of those up the road, all this is in the lower leagues and NPC, if they were in the prem league it would be making national headlines and taring all welsh with the same brush, its happened for years in the lower leagues they would bring their lack of class to the premiership given have the chance!!
Ash you won't find me on the Bluebirds board, other than some occasional light hearted banter, and while I have some very good Bluebird friends in Cardiff, and family for that matter, it doesn't cloud my judgement when it comes to the behaviour of some elements in their fan base, and I'll put money on it, that unless Cardiff FC address these issues, it will only be a matter of time, before their disgraceful antics hit the headlines, and with them in the Premiership, the media will have a field day over 'The Welsh club' and it's hooligans!..................... please log in to view this image
well i'm glad you've backtracked from your quite disgraceful title to this thread 'light hearted banter' you're not fooling anyone, this was anything but and thats why you've dramatically changed your tone on this thread..
As I stated, I and you all know Cardiff are worst than most when it comes to thugs etc, and it will probably never change. What I am saying is we shouldn't take it out on the guys on here. We are all here for a little fun and a laugh, but some of you take it to far and it gets boring finding anti-Cardiff threads all the time. Norway, I apologise for being aggressive and name calling, Iv had a **** day and my grandfather died this morning so I needed something to shout out at. I will butt out of all Cardiff related threeads in the the future, meaning my post count will now remain where it is, more than likely, unless things change. Night.
Jack ash- Dont be so hard on your self mate, im really sorry to hear about your grandfather, puts these things into perspective. I think its good to have the whole mix of views on these boards, different people with different views is what makes it work,we will never agree about everything but of course there is always plenty of common ground as well. Hopefully the team can cheer you up a bit tomorrow, its never easy to lose a loved one. RIP
would you like to tell everyone about the abusive PM you sent a member recently? have you been warned about your conduct musty? enlighten us all..
Swamp- you sound like a school teacher !! "tell the class what you did" Musty is correct though, there is one cardiff poster who is a right tw@t, never seen him post anything constructive just WUMS. who cares what people PM to each other, isnt that the whole point? none of our buisness etc ??
