You make some very valid points DD and I think most fans probably would agree with you up to a point. I also think what irks ILD and KIO is that with just a little bit more effort in trying to strengthen the team in the summer, we could all be relaxing and waiting for the new season in the PL with its untold riches, as opposed to having both sides 'digging in' for prolonged skirmish until pre season starts and/or we sign some players who are an upgrade on what we already have.

I'm not in favour of the 'blame culture' in which we now live, but unfortunately it's here to stay and whilst I'm not strongly against AN staying as manager, I'd love to see us recruit an assistant who has experience of life in the Championship.

Hi bors, I'll repeat what I said earlier, I am not in the blame game. What we have to do is correct the mistakes that were made last season in preparation for this coming season. It was noticeable that our players were not contributing the work rate other teams were doing and in my opinion, that is the area we should be concentrating on, getting our players to put in a 90min stint. If our present coaches are not capable of raising our players capabilities in that department then we change coaches or if players are not able to increase their workload then we get players that can perform for 90mins.

Regarding Bradley Johnson, the new owner of Derby paid out of his own pocket to acquire BJ to bolster their promotion prospects.

That was one of the successes of Leicester - their players played for the full 90 minutes!!! Also, they played as a team and for each other. Perhaps having the same starting 11 for something like 12 successive games helped????
