Regarding Henderson.I reckon Kenny sees something in him,and due to the work that Damien Comolli did analysing certain players,Jordan Henderson being one he analysed, then he does in fact tick all the boxes. The same criteria can be applied to Andy Carroll.Kenny knows exactly what he is and what he can do and he knows exactly what it takes to improve him.I used the Alan Shearer example before, and basically from what I can make out, thats what Kenny sees.
There were doubts over some of Kennys signings with Liverpool the last time,John Aldridge was a decent striker that just scored goals in the lower divisions and for relegated teams.Ray Houghton was just an average Oxford midfielder.John Barnes was talented but erratic when he was with Watford. But with all three in tandem,we forged one of the most exciting sides in England.
I believe the proof in the pudding is when Henderson pulls on the Liverpool shirt,If he doesn't progress,Sunderland won't get that £4 million that they are due in performance payments. So if I were a Sunderland fan,I would hope that he succeeds. It means money for their club.

i think one thing to judge is not what result a player gets or doesn't get with another side or for example how sunderland fans are on about the other younger kid they have being "better"

judge work rate, judge ethic, judge how busy a player makes themselves.... take babel for instance. if liverpool really had done thier homework on him then surely we'd know the work ethic wasn't there at ajax nor was the brains. its obvious as sin he'd rather be sleeping.... compare and contrast to say flanagan... god you know that kid will work like a dog to improve and every time he steps on a field.

is it so hard to ask the right questions..........

henderson looks like a worker... contrast david bentley... see how his career went? we should all have known when he went to arsenal for example he was a lazy so and so who loved himself... i saw that at the time.. why didn't every manager whos picked him up since?

henderosn will work hard for us thats the most important thing.

Attitudes can be changed to more productive ones, Bentley did alright at Blackburn if you remember. Personally I like it when you have a talented player who is wrapped up in themselves because it makes them more interesting to watch.

Jordan Henderson is a decent young Player, the fee paid for him, which appears to be around £16M seems excessive, and of course it puts a spotlight on him, but that is hardly his fault, I think he will over time be a very good signing for Liverpool.
