    i think thats the back up plan. With Moyes there is the comfort of not having to worry too much. he either becomes the best manager around or we hire Jose.

    Simple. Bet it crushes Chelsea fans knowing this.

    Because his record at Everton of finishing an average 8th is BELOW Evertons all time average of 7th hence he is Below Average even for Everton.

    So you'd agree that Everton are a bigger club than Chelsea based on what they've achieved? Credit to you for looking at the big picture. I believe emulating Sunderland is one of Chelsea's major targets.
