You paid Berbatov £130k to do that for four years, and how much is it you pay Wayne ''I flap my arms about when I can't trap the ball'' Rooney?
Berbatov who was top scorer in the PL a couple of seasons ago and won two PL medals?

And Fat Wayne who has scored nearly 200 goals for United and won 4 PL titles and a European Cup?

Excellent comparisons, that's like 200million in today's money. Genius.

How is 150 goals nearly 200? Typical manc logic. Poor old Wayne has been left with a horrible gash, however this time Coleen didn't find out, as it wasn't in a hotel room.
182. Like the quip about the gash. Can't stand Rooney personally. You can take the boy out of Merseyside etc.

1. He's a ****
2. He hasn't done anything since 2005
3. He's a massive ****.

The good news is and there is strong reports of this are, he's joined Stoke on a pay as you play deal. His agent has insisted that he doesn't have a medical as he will fail it. Instead he had a dope test which he passed with flying colours. Then again sharing a dressing room with Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs for two years will decrease your intelligence significantly.

Suppose he's the right build for scrum half.

All I can see in my head when I try to visualise him, is that nasty little smirk and that tacky united kit with the black V.

The one where he is holding their scarf? The one I always see, and his press conference after too.

I felt ill when I first heard the rumour he might go there. Coudn't believe he would go.

And he did. About 2% of me says bring him home, then I think actually he shat all over us. Let him rot.

But he won a PL winner's medal, which is nice for him. I doubt Liverpool could afford his 30k a week pay as you play wages anyway and you already have Borini to stand up front doing **** all.

Oh right, so that justifies his existence on your bench for the best part of 3 years? If your team wins the PL, anyone with 10 apps or more gets a medal, but it doesn't mean they were worth it or deserved it.

It's worth it because it has really ****ed off the Liverpool fans. Fergie is a genius.

As I said in another thread earlier Bow, if he was half decent you could forget about it. Fact is he just ain't that good anymore, and he is injury prone and we would be even more of a laughing stock and......

He is always injured that is true. But I still believe he has a better finish than anyone in our team.

Owen's problem is he is a prize ****. Hence why nobody will touch him.

So weird seeing him in a Liverpool kits of old.

It's funny how fickle football fans are, heroes one minute and villains the next.

And I'm talking in general here, Torres, Owen, Rooney, Van Persie etc

There is far too much badge kissing going on in football for my liking, its just a job at the end of the day. If players didn't take the piss out of the fans then they would be free to move from club to club with no problems.

It is funny how fickle the players are. One word, loyality.

Torres with his armband and tatoos, next minute he is at Chelsea.

He was idolised here, and went and played in front of the plastic flag waving plastics.

For £50m though, was he pushed out the door like Carrol was at Nufc?
