Can I ask why Sunderland fans want MON, as he has apparently turned us down twice before

as well as that

he spits his dummy out if he doesnt get any money....

someone try and convince me that hes the right bloke for the job
 
I dont, I did before we got Keane, but now i dont, if he comes he will get my support 100% i just dont want him.
 
A good shout would be Rafa Benitez - he wants to come back to the EPL and he is a very good tactician.
 
Frankly who we will get next and who I favour I am not sure. After Ricky I wanted an experienced manager and SB fitted the Bill, but unfortunately for him and us he proved a very average manager. I suppose who will come will depend by how much Ellis Short is willing to fund, as in strikers in Jan. If we get a 'nobody' we will know it is very little money then moving up the scale MoN or a good overseas guy!
 
He turned us down before simply because of timing. He would be a good choice as manager because of his excellent record, experience and full-blooded passion for the game.

as a native of Roy's hometown. what is yer opinion of the feisty one ? remembered fondly as the man who pissed the championship getting ye back to the prem or not so fondly as the man who nearly took ye back down ?


Edit: if ye can hang on a few weeks AVB might be interested <ok> <whistle>
 
How was it timing?

He joined Villa on the 4th August 2006 Keane joined us on the 26th August 2006 we asked him in June/July 2006 to come and manage us, he said no, but 1 or 2 months later he joins Villa.

As for Keane, he spent a fortune to get us out of the Championship, and lost the plot in the PL, got us back on the map and i thank him for that, but when he went it was his time to say ta ta.

I can't convince you he's the right man for the job, I don't think he is, I would prefer Benitez, he's worked at a big club before with success, he can attract the right pleayers
