Not that old..... Just had enough..... No intention of working till I drop.

HA Still responsible for motorways and many major trunk roads. Others such as thr A19 are run by private companies that are paid to build and maintain them.

To be fair the A19 is a lot better since a second Tyne Tunnel opened in 2011, widening the A19 under the river to 2 lanes in each direction <ok>

The Tyne Tunnel and Ruver Tyne Port Authority also have some excellent integrated traffic management systems that were supplied at very reasonable rates by a quality company using designs from the cutting edge of technology.

it is only fully used when the **** hits the fan. RTC's in the tunnel bores, fires and the like. Most people won't even know it's there hopefully. ****ing software packed up on Christmas Day 2013 and silly bollocks had to go fix it. Fooking cnuts at Seimens in Germany wouldn't remote diagnose the problem. A long way go to effectively press control, Alt. Delete.

Whatever the reasons are for diverting part of the M62, I admire Ken Wild and his wife for their stance, and you gotta admire the new owners now.

The farmhouse has become famous Euro wide, if not wider, imagine the value now, it's another famous land mark in Yorkshire and Britain.......:emoticon-0148-yes:
