Ah yeah no, but if we'd have won 8-0 that night there would still have been ****s coming on RH wanting to know why we didn't rest so and so, why did we ease up, why didn't GM bring on a youngster or 2 once the game was won?

And some **** would have pointed out Wigan are in disarray and then asked why couldn't we have done this more often, and that it was a freak result etc

RH pitchfork brigade eh?

Some comments are, some aren't but you can tell the lunatics apart usually. Fact s when pretty much everyone is saying the same thing across all media, you can't just dismiss the criticism in the same way.

It's called a consensus.

Whether it was the consensus or not, it's of limited value.

I can't believe some are now saying grant is wrong for making public the abuse his son is getting. Jesus I know everyone wants him to leave as hull manager but saying he's wrong for calling out online abuse of his family is worrying and exactly why people get away with it!..... You are almost on the same level of **** as the people sending his son abuse!

Abusing the man's family or condoning it should absolutely be called out.

That doesn't exclude him from criticism though - as long as it doesn't cross the line into a personal attack.

I don't know the man, but I do feel he's underperforming and I have every right to express that view, as all supporters do.

Expressing our view as him as a manager and online abuse of his family are worlds apart and my point was I can't believe people are saying he's wrong for bringing the fact it's happened to public attention or saying he's doing it to deflect of him etc... Those sending the abuse and those now criticising grant for making it public need to go take a long hard look in the mirror and question themselfs as decent human beings

He has every right to make it public. Its way out of order.

The players aren’t good enough to play McCann’s system in this division. How do we respect him when he himself knows this is the case but won’t sacrifice his footballing philosophy in order to maximise what’s at his disposal? If he thinks they are good enough then that appears delusional.

Again, it's where to draw the line. One thing criticising his philosophy and the job he's doing (or not doing...) but there is that base level of respect that most of us would offer to any fellow human - you don't abuse a man's children for the job he's doing. Simple as.

That goes without saying.
