Cause Email is virtually dead. Business use business related email programs, the public are using whatsapp and social media to communicate. Apart from sending a CV, receiving proof of purchases and creating user accounts, there's very little need for Email to the public anymore. I use outlook. It's better than Gmail that's for sure.

The only time I ever used gmail was to get back on here.

A year gone Christmas.

Haven't had a single email since then.

Who the **** uses it? I don't know anybody who does.

I've had a gmail account for years and don't have any issues with it.
I seem to be getting more spam - but that goes straight to the spam folder and I just clear the folder without opening any of those emails.

So if I scrap email and manage to learn something else, by the time I've learnt something else, will something newer have come along to replace that ? Not a techie. Give me a quill pen and some parchment

I've shunned smart technology myself which most of these whatsapp style apps are on. **** em. Not cause I can't be arsed to learn it, but because they're not very secure. Camera hijacking is common place for instance. **** that ****.

I use gmail for my work and it does what it needs to do. No problemos for me.
