They actually interviewed Stan on BBC Breakfast this morning about the whole thing. I switched channels and preferred to watch Mahler's Symphony No 3 on Sky Arts
Exactly, nothing wrong in stating facts... that would have hurt/pissed him off more than the racist abuse he got!
Agree. Whether the victim is a nice person or some disagreeable loud mouth coward, it is still a crime to throw racial abuse at someone. Especially when the issue in question was an argument about football and not race. It probably tells us more about bigotry of the idiots abusing him. Are they using this argument as a pretext to abuse him racially?
This is my point. Collymore is a prick, and all twitter does is allow other pricks to out-prick him, thereby leading some people to actually start sympathising with him. The whole thing becomes an unedifying, Springer/Kyle type parade of low-lifes throwing insults at each other while the people that are behind it sit back and rake in the cash. Sad and stupid.
Collymore and Morgan... what a lovely couple. May they have bloody tampons forced into all their openings... duck taped together and dropped in a tank, with only their heads above water... accompanied with a single hungry piranha; so that it can slowly eat them over a period of weeks.
does make you laugh that cretins like that can actually take the moral high ground on things, but sadly in this case they can. like someone said earlier just hit him with truths ie wife beater etc.
TalkSport have made announcement saying that they will ne longer publicising Twitter until they start to act on the issues in hand. That means no twitter accounts for shows or broadcasters on air, online or in their mags etc. Thats a massive stance they've taken to protect not just Stan but all their broadcasters.
