I'm sorry but the article is absolute pants. His 'expansive' ideas on the game were picked up watching Martinez at Swansea! Trouble is he got it ever so wrong at Blackpool and they were mullered in the Prem and conceded a hatful last season too. This doesn't just smack of a poor defence because Pool have some decent players, but it is yet more evidence of a shocking tactical naivety that continues unabated. It's entertaining but suicidal at this level. The guy just doesn't get it. 'A perfect fit'? Not for me I'm afraid. And I actually like the guy!
