    ..as we said he would. <laugh>

    Strange timing but I'm not complaining. Apparently we accepted a bid we'd earlier rejected after the news of the Hernandez signing leaked out. Clearly linked imo.

    Seems the Board agreed with most of us that Sinclair wasn't worth more than what was offered. When it's made public we'll see, but if we got any more than that it would be an even better result for us than it is already. <ok>

    Wouldn't put it past HJ! <laugh>

    The way I read it is we accepted an improved bid. The original offer was £6.2mil with no add ons and we pushed for add ons that can take the figure upto £8mil

    Now that's a result if true! <applause>

    Lucky for the Swans I'm not the Chairman. <laugh>

    What is the usually sort of addon payment? And how often does a team end up with the full addon fee being paid? If it's based on games played, then we won't be getting much extra if what most fans on here think - that he won't start many matches. I suppose there could also be an addition fee based on future profit, but I can't see him moving on for a higher price. Would be interesting to know what's been agreed.

    Looks like it's up to £8M depending on appearances I think.

    That'll net us about £1.50 then. <laugh>

    OUT
    Rogers and co=£7m; Sinclair=£8m; Joe=£15m; Bessone=£?; Orlandi(Shame)=£?;
    That's £30m(approx) income

    IN
    Bartley £?; Proctor £?; Chico £2m; Michu £2m; Guz loan; Ki £5.5m; Hernandez £5.5m
    That's £15m(Approx) outlay

    The Maths
    £30m(approx) - £15m(approx) = a hefty profit

    Still to Go
    Dobbie=£?; Lita=£?; Gower=£?

    Staying Tate, I sincerely hope Monk stays too

    I know where you were coming from KJ but I think we can all see now that HJ was right (again)

    <laugh> I did say he probably would be.

    Bartley cost us a mil I think? You're right stumpy - the fact is we seem to have done very well in this window.

    I should change the thread title to "Why I Think Jenkins Turned Out To Be Right" <laugh>

    KJ our Huw has come up trumps once again. I think Huw's stance was more about you want the player you are going to pay top wack, he has stood up to Man city and their big money backers best chairman in football <applause>
