Think syd has explained it. It wasn't done because of the mags coming on here.....note i say mags not geordies, about time some people learn the difference. There was a lot more going on around this board that he had to contend with than just the mags. As he has said time and time again, it's not a competition at all, merely just an alternative, same as there are other alternatives. How many of us are also members on the SMB and Ja, yet they don't get a mention.
The problems were down to it being the close season with too little to talk about. The niggle crept in and we lost the plot for a while, but it's best forgotten and time to move on. Anyone who's never had a barney with a mate hasn't got any mates worth having...
Too true mate..That's one of my pet hates, where some Sunderland fans have fell for the John Hall Geordie Nation claptrap..There are thousands of Geordies who are also Sunderland fans, and long may it continue.
