Regardless of who had the best chances the right team won in the end. Argentina bored aw **** on the way to the final whereas Germany were, for the most part, exciting and entertaining to watch.

I actually agree with you. I thought Argentina would pip Germany as they'd done the Spanish style from last time. Winning games by 1 goal and being tight at the back.
Have to agree on Schweinsteiger. He dragged the rest of the midfield through that extra-time while Mascherano looked knackered for Argentina. Don't agree with my Bayern-bumming pal who tried to tell me Schweinsteiger is the "best midfielder in the world" Bit like when Liverpool fans said the same about Gerrard because he had a good CL final.
